I have been studying religion, philosophy and psychology my entire life.  I have spent years as a Zen Buddhist monk, a college professor, a truck driver, and a husband and father.  Late in life, and with the support of my wife and family, I have come to realize that I am on the Autism spectrum, as well as being neurodivergent in various other ways.  The process of understanding and integrating this aspect of myself has gone hand in hand with the development of the Empyrean deck.  This deck is my attempt to organize and express everything that I have learned over the course of my life about spirituality, creativity, and what it means to be human.  My hope is that it provides a model, a language, and a community that helps others to find the their own answers to their own most difficult and urgent questions.
